I give this an 8 STAR rating (with 3 bonus stars - keep reading) We were looking for a gift for our grandson, and fortunately, we chose Custom Wood Design! First, communication was excellent. Instead of just standard text, I provided pictures of both text and graphics. They sent a mock-up that was very close. I was amazed at Stefan's ability to customize. The actual product was absolutely stunning!! It definitely looks like it truly is, a one of a kind masterpiece! One of the additionally cool features they offered was including a carved note on the back. I will also note the product was nicely wrapped and delivered with no issues. There were no additional costs due to the customization. The website only allowed a max of 5 stars, but my actual rating is higher: - 5 stars based on the product alone - very beautiful - 1 bonus star for all around experience (communication, packaging, and delivery) - 1 bonus star for adding a personalized dedication on back - 1 bonus star for matching customized request. So definitely an 8 STAR RATING!! So this turned out more than a gift, but a true unique keepsake that will be treasured all the days of our grandson's life! I have already suggested to friends that they should consider one of these as a memorable gift. We are planning to order a second masterpiece for another grandson. I'm still thrilled and in awe of such great workmanship. This gift was definitely a "grand slam"!!
